| To participate in the 2009 Albemarle Craftsman's Fair, you must be a member of the Guild. Screening is held twice a year, February 15 and May 15. The Guild prides itself on having a high quality Fair. The Standards Committee is changed each time and consists of members with crafts like those being screened. Who better to know the quality of a turned bowl than another wood turner. It is advisable to enter three or more of your best pieces. Slides and pictures are not accepted. The Screening Committee will look for smooth finishes, pieces finished on all sides, no sharp edges and many more areas where they can determine if you have mastered the craft. If you are interested in applying for membership in the Albemarle Craftsman's Guild read all guide lines carefully to make sure you qualify and follow instructions for submission of application.
